In March 2011, the founders of Dream Drop Studio got together for dessert and left with papers filled with ideas. We have spent months developing and testing new interactive functions for our first book. We look forward to sharing our work with you!

 

THE CREW

Mai Huynh (Creative Director)

Mai Huynh is a self-taught web designer and graphic artist with a formal education from UBC in Arts and Accounting. She has a deep passion for the Arts and Technology and enjoys merging the two together with Dream Drop Studio. She is an avid collector of illustrated children’s books and is always ready for an adventure!

 

Robert Yeung (Art Director)

Robert Yeung is an animator with over 5 years of professional animation experience.  He was worked on the children’s shows: Grossology, Mixed Nutz, and 1001 Nights.  Robert graduated from the Vancouver Film School in 2006 and he enjoys Blues dancing, practicing Muay Thai and playing video games.

Vince Kha (Technical Director)

Vince Kha is a web developer  who graduated from BCIT with a degree in Computer Systems Technology with a focus on Multimedia. He has worked in IT for six years and is now bringing his skills and knowledge to the publishing world. He loves spending time at buffets and doing martial arts in his spare time.

 

Karla Bowdring (Editor & Writer)

Karla Bowdring has dabbled with the Visual and Literary Arts and spent some time taking writings courses. She is now freelancing as an editor and acting as the in-house writer for Dream Drop Studio. In her free time, she enjoys reading and writing stories about anti-heroes.
